We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst. The position will require: collecting and analyzing relevant data, including conducting full lifecycle analysis which will include requirements, activities and design. develop analysis and reporting capabilities. monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements. and will make informed decisions accordingly.

Job responsibilities

• Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
• Developing and implementing databases, data analyses and analytics, data collection systems using relevant strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Perform gap analysis on existing data. Identify new data sources
• Acquiring data from multiple data sources and maintaining databases/data systems
• Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
• Assist other team members and leadership in making sound decisions according to collected and analyzed information

Requirements

• BS in Mathematics / Economics / ComputerScience / Information Management / Statistics
• Proven working experience as a Data Analyst orBusiness Data Analyst
• Technical knowledge and expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
• Experience with reporting packages (BusinessObjects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
• Experience with using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
